Hi, I'm Amberly. I am a voiceover actress and I love what I do. I have been acting since....let's just say 'for a long time'. I loved working in theatre and film, but voiceover has been such a rewarding challenge with a wide range of characters and opportunities. The possibility of being anything or anyone is so exciting to me. There is zero chance of me physically meeting the specs of a purple, southern giraffe but I can play around with tones and pitches in a southern accent. Why southern? umm...I'm from Virginia so why not? Though I do not naturally have that thick accent you'd expect, my voice has been described as youthful, authentic, and friendly. I've always had a quirky and playful personality, so taking risks and going 'over-the-top' is not a stretch for me. Voiceover is so much fun for me but I still maintain professional integrity throughout the process. Producers have commented on my articulation, an understanding of what is needed and my ability to take direction quickly. *Thank you Theatre.
My acting background comes in handy when I record for commercials, audiobooks and especially animation. In animation; either cinematic or cartoon, my characters range in tone, texture, accent, and emotion allowing for a broad scope of options; from the nerdy, adolescent boy to the sultry, evil villain and all of the more interesting things in between.
I perform and record from my East Coast home studio. (self or live-directed sessions) I put all of my attention towards the creative process and deadlines, so I can deliver quality recordings for your project in less than 48 hours.
